Interstate Clients
Six-Month Vet Visits: Dogs must be seen at least every six months by a local veterinarian for medication renewals. This is required to ensure the medication is still appropriate and safe, and that your dog’s health status is well managed.
Interstate Prescriptions: As a Victorian veterinarian, I'm not able to prescribe medications to dogs living permanently outside Victoria. Instead, I can provide a treatment recommendation to a veterinarian in your home state, who may then prescribe the required medications if deemed suitable.
Temporary Interstate Travel: If you reside in Victoria and are temporarily interstate (e.g., on holiday), your pet’s medications can generally be taken with you across state borders. However, if you move permanently to another state, I will be unable to issue repeat prescriptions, and you’ll need to transition prescriptions to a local vet.
Scripts and Vet Clinics: Vets are unable to dispense medication from a script in most states. This means you’ll need to have a valid relationship with a local vet to access medications through my service, rather than using a script.
